About Meetings

OA meetings offer a safe and supportive space to share experiences, strength, and hope with others in recovery.

Find an OA Meeting

Meetings provide a vital connection for our members working at recovery. We are a Fellowship of people who through shared experience, strength, and hope are recovering from unhealthy relationships with food and body image one day at a time.

Meetings help us learn about the OA Twelve Step program of recovery. For newcomers, we suggest attending at least six different meetings to help you decide if OA is right for you.

Overeaters Anonymous offers over 6,400 in person, virtual, and telephone meetings worldwide in a variety of formats, languages, and special focus topics. Find meetings that will work for you and your schedule.

Specific Focus Meetings

“WHO YOU SEE HERE, WHAT YOU HEAR HERE,
WHEN YOU LEAVE HERE, LET IT STAY HERE.”

If you are part of an underrepresented group in OA, you may want to try a Specific Focus meeting. OA meetings are open to ALL members of the Fellowship; however, Specific Focus meetings can help some members feel more at home. Check out the listing of worldwide Specific Focus Meetings page on oa.org to learn more.
