Learn about OA Intergroups – groups of local meetings that team up to support each other, plan events and help carry the OA message!
What is an OA Intergroup?
When several meeting groups form in an area, they soon realize that they can better perform certain functions together rather than separately. So the groups may form an Intergroup that is directly responsible to the groups it serves.
Intergroups typically consist of Intergroup representatives (IRs) from each OA meeting group in the area, Intergroup committee chairs, and the members of the Intergroup ‘Board’, which is just a description for the trusted servants who occupy the positions of: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Region Delegates.
The Southern Arizona Intergroup (SoAz) meets virtually via Zoom at 11:00 a.m. on the 3rd Saturday of most months. Everyone is welcomed to attend. See the Events Calendar for specific meeting dates.
